Arts and crafts
Encouraging creativity with activities centred around drama, sculpture, design, dexterity and expression
Arts and Crafts
In this 2-hour session participants create different projects using different materials such as paints, paper and clay. In this session we strive to allow participants to use their imagination to make their projects completely their own.
Creative Lego Building
Our sessions are more than just building with Lego they provide service users with creative stimulus that can be continued into other interests. For example, super heroes, dinosaurs, cars and buildings.
Drama & Costume Design
Participants can develop their life skills to improve their confidence and have fun using the creative arts. The improvisational games are great drama activities and these include shoeboxes or bags to hold different props, items to use as props such as hats or household articles and cards with different locations (e.g. a train, bus, restaurant, etc).
Explore a range of sculpture session that bring out creative skills. Participants can try their hands at the techniques of moulding using a verity of safe materials under the guidance of the assistant activity coordinator.
We will work with participants to create sugar paste sculptures which are themed and can be self-initiated. We encourage participants to be creative with their work, making sure they do it independently.
